As is the case with many of their professional connections, Lissette and Jessica met through a referral, an EY Senior who was working with Jessica on an audit who had utilized Lissette as a professional resource. After working together at a national recruiting firm for over two years, with all of that time spent as the top producers in the office, Lissette and Jessica left to start their own firm. Lissette and Jessica launched Stravino Penrod Search Partners in 2015. Their team-based approach to recruiting, like-minded ability to identify strong talent and fit, shared ethical values, and efficiency allow them to accomplish more, to utilize each other’s strengths, and to never leave clients or candidates without a contact who provides the same level of service and attention.

Lissette and Jessica met Terin through Tampa Connection in 2013 and began developing a relationship. When Terin left her CHRO role in 2017, her skill set was a natural complement to the practice areas of the firm.

Stravino Penrod Search Partners was named as a finalist for the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business of the Year in the Start-Up category in 2017. The firm has been named to the Book of Lists every year since inception.

Lissette Penrod

Lissette is a proud University of Florida graduate; she obtained her BS and MACC from Fisher School of Accounting. After graduation, she passed all 4 sections of the CPA exam and began her career in public accounting with Ernst & Young. After leaving public accounting, she spent over 5 years in industry with both publicly traded and privately held companies as an Assistant Controller then Controller before realizing her true calling.

Lissette was a finalist for The Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Business Woman of the Year Award in 2011 and 2014.

Lissette is on the Board of Directors for The Children’s Dream Fund.

Jessica Stravino

Jessica is a graduate of University of Florida’s Fisher School of Accounting’s 3/2 Program. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Accounting. After graduation, Jessica began her career in business risk consulting and internal audit with Protiviti, a global business risk consulting firm. Jessica made the switch from Accounting to recruiting after meeting Lissette through a fellow auditor.

Jessica was named to the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 2015 list of Up & Comers for the Under 30 division.

Jessica is involved with The First Tee of Tampa Bay, and sits on the Leadership Council for the Junior League of Tampa.

Terin Cremer

Terin graduated from the University of Notre Dame with her B.B.A., and received her J.D. and M.B.A. from Florida State University. While at Notre Dame, Terin was a Division 1 NCAA athlete and a team captain.

Prior to partnering with Stravino Penrod Search Partners, Terin was the Chief Human Resources Officer and Associate General Counsel of a St. Petersburg financial services company employing over 20,000 employees and generating over $4 billion in annual revenue.

Terin is a mayoral appointee to the City of Tampa’s Civil Service Board where she serves as an administrative judge resolving City of Tampa employment disputes. She is involved with Leadership Florida, and the Junior League of Tampa. Terin has been recognized the Alumni of the Year by the FSU College of Business, Legal Elite by Florida Trend, a Thirty Under 30 FSU alum, and by the Tampa Bay Business Journal as an Up and Comer Hall of Famer (highest award given), Top in House Counsel at a Private Company Finalist, and HR Person of the Year finalist.
